ONLINE EDITING - THE CRAFT

MANCHESTER / WORLDWIDE

Where the story is finished

The offline cut carries the story. Online editing is where that story becomes something you can actually put to air — technically precise, broadcast-compliant, and built to survive every platform it's delivered to.

COLOUR GRADING

Look development

Once the conform is complete, grading gives the finished master its visual identity — matching every shot, developing a look that suits the story, and finishing for whatever spec it's being delivered in, from broadcast SDR to HDR.

CONFORM, EXPLAINED

Offline isn't the finished file

Offline editing works from lightweight proxy footage so the creative process stays fast. Conform is the technical process of rebuilding that exact edit using the original, full-resolution camera files — frame for frame, cut for cut — so nothing about the story changes, but everything about its quality does.
